Seaside School 5K
Get Grounded & Run for a cause.
First off, let me just say that this race is not your typical 5k. Oh no, this race is a 13.1-mile half marathon that takes place in one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Florida – Seaside.
The race starts and finishes in the heart of Seaside, with the course taking runners through the charming towns of 30A and along the scenic coastline. You’ll be running through historic Seaside, luxurious Watercolor, Grayton Beach and you’ll even encounter some elevation in Blue Mountain Beach so make sure you have the right shoes for the job!
But don’t worry, the stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico will more than make up for any challenges along the way. You’ll get to see the sparkling turquoise waters and the white sandy beaches that make 30A so famous.
Recently the Seaside School was ranked the #1 Combination charter school in Florida, with it’s partnership with the North West Florida State College, the Seaside School has been working on expanding its Collegiate High School campus and programs.
The three-day charity Race Weekend kicks off on Friday, February 17th with Taste of the Race, a local culinary and wine experience, featuring some of the area’s most renowned restaurants and chefs. As 20 chefs compete for the coveted Chef’s Choice Award, guests can enjoy live music, sip on complimentary beer and wine, and delight in the prepared delicacies.
And let’s not forget about the post-race party! Seaside knows how to throw a celebration, and the Seaside Race is no exception. After crossing the finish line, you’ll be greeted with music, food, and drinks, and can join in on the festivities with your fellow runners.
So grab your friends, lace up your sneakers, and get ready to make some memories at the Seaside Race! It’s a trendy and fun event that will have you feeling empowered, strong, and exhilarated.
